Come help us restore forest habitat for the New England Cottontail rabbit, a species of concern in New York, by planting native plants at Fahnestock State Park in Cold Spring, NY (Putnam Co.). This planting will install test plots of native plants where Japanese barberry has been removed. The plants will be established and then studied to understand the rabbits’ use of them. If successful, more area will be restored.
