Join expert botanist, Steve Young, on a botany walk to explore the flora of Scenic Hudson’s Black Creek Preserve. We’ll walk at a slow pace on hiking trails stopping frequently to identify plants along the wooded trails. Black Creek Preserve is 130 acres of undeveloped upland hardwoods, streams, wetlands, and tidal wetlands associated with the mouth of Black Creek. All are welcome from novice to experienced botanists. Bring your lunch and enjoy the expansive views of the Hudson River at the end of the walk.
