Native Planting at Granite Mountain Preserve
October 6 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Come help us restore the forest at Granite Mountain Preserve in Putnam Valley, NY (Putnam Co). We’ll be planting the small plants that Wild Woods Restoration Project volunteers have grown from local native seeds.
Our planting area is about 1/4 mile up the hill from the parking on a sloped, rocky hillside. We’ll be planting small plants with lightweight tools.
Everyone is welcome. No experience is necessary. We provide the tools.
Limited to 10 participants. Advance registration is required.
